About

The British Cardiovascular Intervention Society (BCIS) is an official partner of the Interventional Cardiology: Reviews, Research, Resources journal.

BCIS promotes education, training and research in cardiovascular intervention as well as developing and upholding both clinical and professional standards.

BCIS provides a large array of educational material from a variety of sources, live cases, debates, presentations and webinar recordings from past conferences including ACI, as well as the publication of clinical cases, reviews and news.

Every year the society supports trainees in interventional cardiology with basic and advanced courses, international fellowships and abstract and clinical case competitions. In addition, our AHP members now have an annual summer conference with a diverse programme over two days.

The Society continuously audits interventional activity in the UK each year and is central to maintaining high clinical standards with the national audit cycle together with publicly available operator and institutional outcome data.
