Biography

Dr Maurizio Volterrani is Head of the Cardiological Rehabilitation Unit and of the Department of Motor and International Sciences at IRCCS San Raffaele Pisana in Rome.

Dr Volterrani is chairman, co-chairman and member of the Steering Committee of numerous International and National Studies. He is a member of the Italian Cardiac Rehabilitation Group, Volterrani and a Fellow of the European Society of Cardiology, the National Association of Hospital Cardiologists and the American College of Chest Physicians.

He is a referee for European Journal of Cardiology, International Journal of Cardiology and European Journal of Heart Failure. He is chairman of the Telecardiology and Computer Study Group of the Italian Society of Cardiology.
