Biography
Dr Mark Gallagher is a Research Fellow in Clinical Cardiology at St George's Hospital Medical School. He is a member of the Fellowship of the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland (FRCPI), the Royal Colleges of Physicians, the British Heart Foundation. Dr Gallagher has received the Shanahan Prize in Cardiology.
Dr Gallagher sees patients at Spire St Anthony's Hospital, BMI The Runnymede Hospital and St George's Hospital NHS Trust in London. He has been Clinical Lead in Electrophysiology at St George's for ten years, performing over 450-500 procedures yearly.
Dr Gallagher's research interests include AF Ablation, ablation for atrial tachycardia, difficult accessory pathways, implantation of ventricular leads and lead extraction.
Dr Mark M Gallagher is on the Editorial Board for European Cardiology Review.
