Biography

Bernhard Gebauer is the Head of Interventional Radiology and Campus Manager at Campus Virchow-Klinikum, Charité - Berlin University Medicine, DE. He specialises in interventional oncology, including the diagnosis and therapy of tumours, thermoablation (radiofrequency ablation), local radiation (brachytherapy), selective intraarterial radioembolization (SIRT), and chemoembolization (TACE).

Dr Gebauer has expertise in the implantation and complication management of central venous catheters (such as Ports, Hickman, Broviac, and Shaldon) and the radiological determination of therapy response. Additionally, he supervises hematological-oncological therapy studies.
