Biography

Dr Ana Viana Tejedor is the Acute Cardiac Care Unit Coordinator at Hospital Clínico San Carlos, ES. She holds a diploma in Methodology and Research from the Autónoma University of Barcelona and earned her doctorate from Complutense University, Madrid in 2012, focusing on temporal trends in reperfusion therapies and outcomes in elderly patients with first STEMI. Dr Viana Tejedor completed her medical degree at Alcalá de Henares University, Madrid (1997-2003) and her cardiology specialty residency at Hospital Universitario La Paz, Madrid (2004-2009).

Dr Viana Tejedor is a certified cardiopulmonary resuscitation instructor by the Spanish Society of Cardiology (2013). Her further education includes a postgraduate programme in Acute Cardiac Care (2013-2014) and another in the Management of Clinical Units (2015-2016). Since 2014, she has also served as a tutor for four cardiology specialists in training.
