Biography
Dr. Alexander van Rosendael is a cardiologist in training and specialises in non-invasive imaging of coronary artery disease, particularly through coronary CT. He earned his PhD for research conducted at the Leiden University Medical Center in the Netherlands and the Weill Cornell Medicine, Dalio Institute for Cardiovascular Imaging in New York, US. He has participated in various international cardiac CT trials and is actively involved in research on AI-assisted automated coronary plaque imaging. Alongside his research, Dr. van Rosendael is a member of both the European Society of Cardiology and the Heart Failure Association.
