Overview

This live broadcast, chaired by Dr Martin Swaans (St Antonius Hospital, NL), will explore the evolving data for transcatheter aortic valve implantation (TAVI) and why we need to improve triaging practices towards the most appropriate interventions.

Join leading experts, Prof Sabine Bleiziffer (Heart and Diabetes Center NRW, DE), Prof Vijay Kunadian (Newcastle University, UK) and Dr Marta Sitges (Hospital Clínic de Barcelona, ES), as they discuss valve design and durability, clinical data from the SMART trial presented at ACC 2024 and how we can provide greater access for women in TAVI.

TAVI Head-To-Head: Design, Data and Directions for Clinical Practice has been accredited by the European Board for Accreditation of Continuing Education for Health Professionals (EBAC) for one CME point.
