Overview

Mitral and tricuspid regurgitation can now be safely and effectively treated using transcatheter edge-to-edge repair (TEER). The PASCAL Precision system offers a differentiated platform to significantly reduce mitral or tricuspid regurgitation and improve your patients’ outcomes.

This recording of the live broadcast allows you to appreciate the key features and applications of the PASCAL Precision system, with Prof Philipp Lurz (Heart Center Leipzig of University Leipzig, Leipzig, DE) and Prof Georg Nickenig (UKB Universitätsklinikum Bonn, Bonn, DE) chairing and sharing their experience. The programme includes two educational “live in a box” cases, presented by Dr Sam Dawkins (John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford, UK) and Dr Dabit Arzamendi (Hospital de la Santa Creu i Sant Pau, Barcelona, ES) for mitral and tricuspid TEER, respectively. In these sessions, the patient anatomy and procedural analysis are discussed by Dr Nina Wunderlich (Asklepios Klinik Langen, Langen, DE).

In a series of case presentations with Prof Maurizio Taramasso (HerzZentrum Hirslanden Zürich, Zurich, CH) and Dr Carmelo Grasso (Azienda Ospedaliero-Universitaria Policlinico Vittorio Emanuele Presidio Ferrarotto, Catania, IT), the PASCAL Precision System is challenged in patients with a broad range of anatomies, including complex ones. Finally, Dr Mirjam Wild (University Herzzentrum Bad Krozingen, Freiburg, DE) discusses the most recent clinical evidence for tricuspid TEER.
