Further through the series Prof David Hildick-Smith (Sussex Cardiac Centre, Brighton, UK) argues for an interventional approach whilst Prof Marjan Jahangiri (St George's University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, London, UK) argues that surgery, SAVR should be considered based on life expectancy in the treatment of patients with symptomatic aortic stenosis.
