It is our great pleasure to announce that the Euro-GUCH meeting 2018 will be held 20-21st of April 2018 in Münster, Germany. The EURO-GUCH meeting is one of the most prestigious conferences on adult congenital heart disease in Europe, organized under the auspices of the working group on grown-up congenital heart disease of the European Society of Cardiology. Adults with congenital heart disease constitute a rapidly increasing cohort of cardiology patients with lifelong and unique requirements. The meeting will cover important and burning topics in adult congenital heart disease and will have an international faculty including many global opinion leaders in the field. Focus will be given on novel therapeutic strategies, heart failure, pulmonary hypertension, arrhythmia, interventional and surgical aspects. We expect more than 300 participants from all over Europe and overseas attending the meeting, many of them leading programs for adult congenital heart disease at their centers. At the same time, adult congenital heart disease is also increasingly important for trainees and general cardiologists, as the concept of shared care between specialist centers and local cardiologists is common for these patients. For the first time, the Euro-GUCH meeting will be held jointly with 11th Advanced Symposium on Congenital Heart Disease in the Adult. This biennial meeting organized by Prof. Michael Gatzoulis and the London Royal Brompton Team is an established part of the Adult Congenital Heart Disease educational agenda and has attracted global attendees over the last 2 decades. We are delighted to be able to join forces and provide a forum to discuss the latest clinical, surgical and scientific developments in the world of adult congenital cardiology while also allowing space in the programme to share difficult cases with peers and bring issues central to their own practice to the table. Please join us in Münster for what we are sure will be one of 2018’s most interesting and valuable events in the Adult Congenital Heart Disease calendar. On behalf of the local organizing committee.
