The field of device based therapy in heart failure continues to develop at a fast pace. Advancements in ventricle restoration strategies, device based strategies to improve cardiac output and new monitoring systems only represent a small proportion of the potential for cutting edge technologies and emerging platforms in this new field.

The 3rd D-HF congress will take place in Berlin, December 15 – 16, 2017. Innovation is at the forefront of this meeting and our faculty of leading experts and pioneers in the field will provide a comprehensive update on the latest research, trials and clinical practice. The program will include lectures, debates and recorded / live cases and opportunities for questions and discussion will be provided throughout the meeting.

On the afternoon of December 16, we are planning a workshop exclusively for industry representatives, which will cover European and US rules and regulations of device development with a particular focus on how to design clinical trials. The aim of this meeting is to encourage direct dialogue between those that are writing the regulations and those that are creating devices and develop the clinical trials to test them.
