This programme has been designed by Dr Lisa Anderson, Dr Parminder Chaggar, Dr Peter Cowburn, Dr Paul Kalra, Professor Iain Squire and Dr Simon Williams to meet the educational needs of the heart failure component of the core curriculum in cardiovascular medicine, as well as the needs for advanced training in heart failure and revalidation. It will provide an in-depth discussion around particularly challenging and often controversial management issues that will be relevant to consultants and trainees in cardiology, internal medicine, care of the elderly specialists, nurses and GPs with a special interest in heart failure. The day has been structured to provide a balance of carefully selected talks and interactive case-based sessions. We are expecting to attract around 120 delegates and about 6 exhibiting companies.
