Advanced Approaches to Combined Epicardial and Endocardial Strategies – From New Consensus to Practice
At 14:30 CET (08:30 EST) on Monday 8 April, in Room 2 at EHRA 2024 in Berlin, DE, Radcliffe Education is hosting a CME-accredited symposium entitled 'Advanced Approaches to Combined Epicardial and Endocardial Strategies – From New Consensus to Practice’.
Under the expert moderation of Dr Hugh Calkins (Baltimore, US) and Prof Riyaz Kaba (London, UK) a leading international faculty comprising Prof Carlo de Asmundis (Brussels, BE), Prof Claudio Tondo (Milan, IT), and Dr Manuela Cireddu (Milan, IT) will discuss the endocardial approach to management of arrhythmias, consider which patients may benefit (particularly in light of PFA) and review what the guidelines do and don’t say about hybrid ablation.
This symposium is supported by an unrestricted educational grant from AtriCure Inc.
This symposium has been accredited by the European Board for Accreditation of Continuing Education for Health Professionals (EBAC) for one CME point. Physicians may convert EBAC External CME credits to AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™.
Learning Objectives
Identify patient populations who may benefit from hybrid ablation
Summarise the existing rationale and evidence for hybrid ablation beyond atrial fibrillation
Understand how to integrate left atrial appendage exclusion in atrial ablation approaches
- Examine key aspects of new consensus recommendations for hybrid ablation
