The 12th Congress of Asian Society of Cardiovascular Imaging (ASCI) and the 6th Annual Meeting of Society of Cardiovascular Computed Tomography (SCCT) China IRC will be held in China National Convention Center (CNCC) in Beijing from August 16th to 18th, 2018 (Thursday to Saturday). Meanwhile, CHINA-HOSPEQ 2018 which is sponsored by National Health and Family Planning Commission of China will be held. So, many colleagues and friends will join us.

The theme of the congress is "Cardiovascular Imaging and the One Belt and One Road Initiatives", comply with the requirement of the development of socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era, and strengthen academic exchanges with international organizations. ASCI has been set up for 12 years in 2018. In the passing years, it brings together all of Asia's most famous cardiovascular imaging experts, represents the Asian academic level and the development direction. It is also the second time of this academic congress being held in Beijing. 2018 is also the 12th year for SCCT. Nowadays, it has over 2500 members worldwide, and almost every expertise on cardiovascular computed tomography has being joining the society. SCCT China IRC is set up for 6 years in 2018. In recent years, cardiovascular imaging developed rapidly. It has been carried out in basic-level hospitals gradually in China. The refreshment of cardiovascular imaging technology, especially the outstanding performance in the field of cardiovascular function imaging in recent years, has played a key role in our clinical work, not only in terms of disease diagnosis and screening, but also the optimization of treatment decision making and improvement in the curative effect of cardiovascular disease.

The congress is the best chance to provide excellent opportunities for the education and scientific communication. Representatives from Asian countries, as well as colleagues and experts from the “European Association of Cardiovascular Imaging (EACVI) ", "European Society of Cardiovascular Radiology (ESCR)", “Society for Cardiovascular Magnetic Resonance (SCMR)", "North American Society for Cardiovascular imaging (NASCI)" will be invited and participated in the congress, which correspond with the theme “One Belt and One Road Initiatives”.

The organizing committee sincerely invites doctors from radiology department, nuclear medicine, echocardiography and other imaging professionals, as well as cardiologists and surgeons, scientists, engineers and relevant personnel working in the field of cardiovascular imaging participate in this event. The congress will provide plenary lectures, refresher courses, ASCI meets all above mentioned Organizations, share cutting-edge technologies, and the recent research progress including the latest application of "artificial intelligence" in the field of cardiovascular imaging. Training courses for young scholars, scientific reports, “Young Investigator Award”, posters (including electronic posters), and other academic sessions will also be provided. The satellite meeting will be provided for the company and industries. The official language of the congress is English. Simultaneous interpretation will be equipped for the convenience of domestic Chinese fellow participants, as well as bilingual slide show.
