Dr Sree Kondapally is an Interventional Cardiology Fellow at the Royal Bournemouth Hospital in England. He completed his Cardiology training from London, including sub-specialty training in PCI. He also holds research degrees from the University of Cambridge in the UK, and his academic work centres around cardiovascular epidemiology.
Dr Kondapally has won a number of prizes and honours including: Distinctions in biochemistry and microbiology and Gold Medal for overall top mark at his medical school; best junior doctor award for all-round academic performance during post-graduate training in general medicine; and top mark for his MPhil thesis at Cambridge. His comprehensive research on the vascular and non-vascular outcomes of diabetes, published in the New England Journal of Medicine, was voted amongst the top two per cent of the articles in biology and medicine by the Faculty of 1000 (F1000).
