Biography
Dr Puja K Mehta is an Associate Professor at Emory University School of Medicine. Dr Mehta attended the Georgia Institute of Technology, and then went on to complete her medical degree at the Medical College of Georgia. She then completed an internal medicine residency and cardiovascular fellowship at Emory. She then completed an additional year of training at the Barbra Streisand Women’s Heart Center, Cedars-Sinai Heart Institute, Los Angeles, California, US.
Dr Mehta's research interests include the management of angina, heart disease prevention, and behavioural approaches to CVD reduction, including exercise, nutrition and stress reduction.
Dr Mehta is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology (ACC), and the American Heart Association (AHA)
Dr Puja K Mehta is on the Editorial Board of European Cardiology Review.
