Biography

Prof Philipp Sommer is Director of the Clinic for Electrophysiology and Professor at the Heart and Diabetes Center North Rhine-Westphalia, University clinic of Bochum, Bad Oeynhausen, Germany.

Prof Sommer is an invited speaker, media correspondent, and editorial board member active in peer review at several high-impact journals including Europace, JACC, JACC EP, European Heart Journal, The Lancet. He is member of the scientific committee of “Herzschrittmachertherapie + Elektrophysiologie”, German Journal of Cardiac Pacing and Electrophysiology and Member of the EHRA Scientific Program Committee 2018 – 2020.
