Biography

Dr Michele Brignole is currently the Chief of the Department of Cardiology, Ospedali del Tigullio, Lavagna, Italy and chairman of the Task Force on Syncope of the European Society of Cardiology.

Dr Brignole is also member of the faculty at School of Medicine and Public Health, University of Wisconsin in Madison, USA. His main field of interest is clinical and interventional arrhythmology. The main research field is diagnosis, pathophysiology and therapy of syncope and rhythm disturbances and radiofrequency catheter ablation of arrhythmias.
