Biography

Dr Marc S Sabatine is chairman of the Thrombolysis in Myocardial Infarction (TIMI) Study Group at Brigham and Women’s Hospital (BWH) and holds the Lewis Dexter, MD Distinguished Chair in Cardiovascular Medicine. He is also a professor of medicine at Harvard Medical School (HMS).

Dr Sabatine is board certified in internal medicine and cardiovascular disease and is a fellow of the American Heart Association, the American College of Cardiology and the European Society of Cardiology.

Dr Sabatine has authored over 200 peer-reviewed publications, is on the writing committees for practice guidelines, and has received research funding from the American College of Cardiology and the National Institutes of Health.
