Julius C Heemelaar

Julius C Heemelaar MD is a cardiologist in training, specialising in cardio-oncology. He completed postdoctoral cardio-oncology fellowships at Leiden University Medical Center (LUMC), and at Mass General Hospital-Harvard Medical School. His research interests include leveraging big data analytics and artificial intelligence, particularly in natural language processing, to address cardio-oncology questions. He is a member of the Research Working Group at ICOS. Currently, he works as a postdoctoral research fellow at LUMC and as a medical resident at the OLVG Hopsital in Amsterdam.
