As an associate professor of cardiology and diagnostic imaging at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas, where he co-directs the cardiac radiology service (cardiac CT and MRI), Juan C. Lopez-Mattei specializes in multimodality imaging of the heart.
With more than 50 peer-reviewed publications on a variety of cardio-oncology topics (imaging, intervention, and outcomes), Dr. Lopez-Mattei has spoken at numerous national and international cardiovascular meetings, including the SCCT, ASE, SCMR, American College of Cardiology (ACC), Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions (SCAI), and others.
