Charles Porter

Dr Charles Porter is the Medical Director of Cardio-oncology at The University of Kansas Hospital, Kansas City, US. He has been active in heart failure and transplant cardiology since 1984.

He has a focus on preventing and managing heart failure in patients receiving Herceptin for breast cancer.

He became the US Vice President of the International Cardio-oncology Society in 2010. He is the first cardiologist at KU Med Center to be accepted as a member of the NCI designated KU Cancer Center.
