Biography

Dr Macedo is a researcher at the Brazilian Clinical Research Institute (BCRI), located in Sao Paulo, Brazil, and the chair of the cardio-oncology clinic at Santa Casa de Sao Paulo. She specialises in heart failure, thrombosis, amyloidosis and the cardiovascular effects of anti-cancer treatment. She obtained both an MD and a Master's in Health Science from the University of Minas Gerais in Brazil.
