About the episode
TCT 23 - We are joined by Dr Matthias Götberg (Lund University, SE) to discuss recent findings from a study of the SWEDEHEART Registry, where the long-term outcomes of iFR vs FFR guided coronary revascularization were compared.
Results suggest that in a national registry analysis of 42887 patients investigated with iFR or FFR with 5-year follow-up, similar outcomes were observed in MACE, all-cause death, myocardial infarction, unplanned revascularization and deferred and treated populations.
Interview Questions:
- What was the reasoning behind this study?
- What was the patient cohort and study design?
- What were the key findings?
- What are your take-home messages?
- What further study is still required?
Recorded remotely from Lund, 2023.
