Interventional Cardiologist
Dr Robert Garbo has been an Interventional Cardiologist since 1999.
He was Head of the Cath Lab at San Giovanni Bosco Hospital from 2005- 2020, director of the CTO PCI, CHIP, and complex PCI programs over the last 15 years.
He has operated more than 2200 CTO PCI, of which 1100 with retrograde approach.
Proctor for CTO PCI programs in Italy, Europe( France, Poland, Romania, Czeck republic, Russia) and Middle East (Egypt, Saudi Arabia)
Live operator during international CTO Congress
Expert and proctor for Rotational Atherectomy in very calcified lesion (more than 700 cases as first operator)
Since September 2020 director of CTO , complex PCI program at Maria Pia Hospital and GVM Care & Research group.
