The aim of the Primary Care Cardiovascular Society (PCCS) is to provide activities which benefit the community of healthcare practitioners who deliver care to people with, or at risk of, cardiovascular disease. We support, educate and mentor healthcare practitioners to develop their knowledge and skills.
We offer a programme of educational events throughout the year as well as offering our members access to our CVD Academy, our learning platform providing online workshops focused around key CVD areas, with downloadable CPD certificates, and resources.
We now have over 3,000 members who benefit from free membership, monthly newsletters and updates from the Council, access to our AGM and Conferences with a strong educational, clinical and regional content. There is also the ability to influence how cardiovascular care is delivered at a local and national level.
