Steven M Ewer is a non-invasive cardiologist and Associate Professor of Medicine at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health, where he established a cardio-oncology program in 2009. He received his medical training at the University of Michigan and Washington University/Barnes-Jewish Hospital. Dr Ewer’s primary focus involves the cardiovascular effects of anthracyclines, trastuzumab and tyrosine kinase inhibitors. Other interests include clinical echocardiography and valvular heart disease, with an emphasis on transesophageal echocardiographic support during interventions for structural heart disease. He is also Associate Director of the University of Wisconsin Cardiovascular Medicine Fellowship Program.
