Doctor of Medicine (MD) from the Faculty of Medicine and Pharmacy, Iasi Romania.

Residency in Internal Medicine and Cardiology at Rambam Medical Health Campus (board certified).

Sub-speciality in heart failure. Postgraduate studies in heart failure at the University of Zurich and Heart House. Heart failure specialist from the Heart Failure Association of the ESC.

Director of the intermediate Care Unit of the Cardiology Department.

A member of the Israel and European Heart Society, member of the Heart Failure Association of the ESC, a working group on Myocardial and Pericardial Diseases of the ESC and the European Association for Cardiovascular Prevention and Rehabilitation (EACPR). 2015-2019 Member of the Committee of Membership & NCS relations of the European Association of Acute Cardiac Care.

Principal Investigator and Sub-Investigator in multiple clinical studies in Cardiology. Main research areas: prevention of cardiovascular diseases, comorbidities in heart failure (such as diabetes, and arterial hypertension), epidemiology, and cardiovascular complications of acute cardiac conditions.
