Robert P Frantz, MD, FACC, has been a Consultant in the Division of Cardiovascular Diseases at the Mayo Clinic since 1990. He is an Assistant Professor of Medicine and Director of the Pulmonary Hypertension Clinic and Cardiovascular Studies Unit at the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine, and a member of the Education Committee of the Pulmonary Hypertension Association. Dr Frantz obtained his undergraduate degree in biochemistry at Harvard University and completed his medical degree and internal medicine residency at Mayo Clinic College of Medicine. He trained in cardiology at the University of Rochester Medical Center in Rochester, New York.
