Robert Olszewski is a Consultant Cardiologist at the Military Medical Institute Warsaw, and Honorary Trust Doctor at the John Radcliff Hospital in Oxford. His research has involved the development of echocardiographic phantoms and techniques such as Doppler tissue imaging, stress and contrast echocardiography and tissue speckle tracking. He has written 10 book chapters and is the author of more than 30 scientific papers. Dr Olszewski is an Associate Editor of the journal of the Polish Medical Association, Polski Merkuriusz Lekarski. He graduated with honours from the Military Medical Academy in Lodz 1988 and went on to complete his clinical training in internal medicine and cardiology at the National Institute of Cardiology, Ischaemic Heart Disease Department and the Central Clinical Hospital of Military Academy of Medicine in Warsaw, Poland.
