Michael H Davidson is a Clinical Professor and Director of Preventive Cardiology at the University of Chicago. He is also Founder, President and Chief Executive Officer of the Chicago Center for Clinical Research, currently part of Radiant Research. Dr Davidson’s core research areas include statins, novel lipid-lowering drugs and non-pharmacological risk factor reduction. He has co-ordinated more than 700 clinical trials in areas of preventative cardiology and published more than 200 articles in leading medical journals. Dr Davidson earned his MD from Ohio State University College of Medicine in Columbus and completed his residency in internal medicine at Rush-Presbyterian-St Luke’s Medical Center in Chicago.
