Michael C Slack, MD, FACC, FSCAI, FAAP, is Director of the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratories and Interventional Therapies at the Children’s National Heart Institute, Children’s National Medical Center. He is also Co-Director of the Adult Congenital Interventional Program at the Washington Hospital Center where over 18,500 adult catheterizations are performed each year and is on the faculty at George Washington University School of Medicine. Dr Slack is a site investigator for several new devices with extensive experience with investigational device exemption (IDE) clinical trials. He is a member of the Society of Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions, serving on its strategic planning committee. He also has extensive experience as a training proctor for interventional device companies.
