Biography

Mario Iannaccone is an interventional cardiologist at the San Giovanni Bosco Hospital in Turin. He received his MD from the University of Neaples in 2010. He completed his clinical and research fellowship in cardiology at Turin University Hospital in 2017 and developed his skills in complex coronary interventions at the San Giovanni Bosco Hospital (Turin) under the mentorship of Dr Roberto Garbo. Dr Iannaccone has authored about 90 publications on complex coronary intervention, in particular regarding chronic total occlusion recanalisation, intracoronary imaging and left ventricle mechanical support devices.

Dr Iannaccone is a member of the editorial board for Interventional Cardiology: Reviews, Research, Resources.
