Jun Dong, MD, is a clinical research fellow at the Cardiology/Medicine Department in the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. He is a member of the Heart Rhythm Society and has published extensively in three-dimensional (3-D) mapping and catheter ablation. He is one of the principal investigators who validated the accuracy of a novel image integration system and guided the first clinical use of the image integration system for catheter ablation of atrial fibrillation in the US. Dr Dong received his MD from Technische Universtät München in Germany. He received clinical training in internal medicine and cardiology at the Second Teaching Hospital of Chongqing University of Medical Sciences, China, and further training in cardiac electrophysiology at the German Heart Center, Munich, Germany.
