James R Revenaugh, MD, is Co-Director of the Cardiac Cathode Laboratory at the Utah Heart Clinic, and is Director of the Coronary Care Unit and Nuclear Cardiology at LDS Hospital. In 1996 he became Director of the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory at the Veterans Administration (VA) Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah. He is a member of the American Heart Association (AHA) and a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology (ACC). Clinical and research interests include high-risk percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI), transseptal technologies, and treatment of cardiac transplant arteriopathy in adults and children. After attending medical school at Northwestern University, Dr Revenaugh trained in internal medicine at Virginia Mason Hospital in Seattle, WA. After a research fellowship in bioengineering at the University of Washington (UW), he completed a clinical cardiology fellowship at UW from 1992 to 1994, trained in interventional cardiology, and then served as a clinical instructor at UW.
