Biography

Dr Iskra Pusic is an Associate Professor at the Division of Oncology, Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, US. 

Dr Pusic was educated at the University of Zagreb School of Medicine between 1991 - 1997, before completing her Obligatory Medical Traineeship from 1997 - 1998 at the  University Hospital Center "Rebro". Following this Dr Pusic completed fellowships at the University of Nebraska Medical Center, State University of New York and Washington University School of Medicine. 

Dr Pusic is a member of numerous professional societies and organisations, including the American Society of Hematology, Women Committee in American Society of Transplantation and Cellular Therapies, and the International Cardio-Oncology Society. 

Her research interests focus on long-term complications after allogeneic hematopoietic cell transplantation, particularly Graft-versus-Host Disease (GvHD) and survivorship.
