Biography

Dr Guiomar Mendieta is a Clinical Research Fellow at Centro Nacional de Investigaciones Cardiovasculares (CNIC) in Madrid, Spain. Dr Mendiete achieved her MD at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona in 2014, and then went to the Hospital Clínic de Barcelona to complete her residency training. She then performed her translational research studies in cardioprotective and earned her Philosophy Degree in Medicine in 2020. 

Dr Mendieta is currently a Fellow of the CVCT Forum.

Dr Guiomar Mendieta is on the Editorial Board of European Cardiology Review.
