Dr Nabil Dib is the Director of Cardiovascular Research, and Director of the Interventional Cardiology Fellowship Program for the Arizona Heart Institute. Board-certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease, and interventional cardiology, Dr Dib has extensive experience in cardiovascular research and specializes in investigational interventional, vascular devices and interventional physiology. He is involved with several new clinical research trials and is a leading researcher in myoblast cell transplantation and gene therapy treatments for coronary artery disease. After earning his medical degree from the Damascus University School of Medicine in Syria, Dr Dib completed internships at the Albert Einstein School of Medicine and the Boston University School of Medicine. He then completed an internal medicine residency at the Tufts University School of Medicine in Boston. In addition, Dr Dib fulfilled a general cardiology fellowship at the University of Wisconsin and an interventional cardiology fellowship at Harvard Medical School in Boston.
