David J Wilber, MD, is Eisenberg Professor of Cardiovascular Sciences at Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine and Director of Cardiology at Loyola University Health System. His core areas of research include ablation of atrial fibrillation, electrophysiology, alternatives to anticoagulation for atrial fibrillation, and arrhythmias. Previous to his residency at Northwestern University Medical School, he completed his fellowship at the University of Michigan Medical Center. Dr Wilber has been an investigator in a number of large clinical trials, and has authored and co-authored numerous original papers around the areas of atrial fibrillation.
