Christopher M Kramer, MD, is Professor of Medicine and Radiology, and Director of the Cardiovascular Imaging Center of the University of Virginia. Dr Kramer’s principal research interest has been in the cardiovascular applications of magnetic resonance and he has been published widely in the area of left ventricular remodeling and myocardial viability, atherosclerotic plaque imaging, and imaging of peripheral arterial disease. Previous to this he was on faculty at Allegheny General Hospital, Dr Kramer received his MD from the University of California, San Francisco, and trained in cardiovascular medicine at the University of Pennsylvania.
