In December 2014, the first ever CSI Africa conference took place in Arusha, Tanzania, offering a comprehensive overview of the most important catheter therapies of congenital, structural and valvar heart disease in children and adults. Not far away from the Kilimandscharo, pediatric and adult interventional cardiologists from Tanzania, Kenya, Sudan, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Mozambique, Ghana, Uganda, Nigeria, Ethiopia, South Africa, Tunisia, Egypt, Saudi Arabia and from overseas gathered for a two-day meeting.
