The International Cardio-Oncology Society is a committed group of professionals throughout the world who are striving to protect the cardiovascular health of all patients who are undergoing cancer therapy. By optimising the cardiac status of patients with cancer before, during and after their treatment, IC-OS is collectively improving the overall outcomes including survival and quality of life. IC-OS aims to provide the latest scientific and clinical education and research for anyone treating patients with cancer in the hopes of enhancing cardiovascular protection.

Heather Moore
Dr Heather Moore, PharmD, BCOP, CPP, is a clinical oncology pharmacist and CPP (Clinical Pharmacist Practitioner) that specialises in breast oncology at Duke Cancer Institute, Durham, US. Aside from her clinical role, she also has a focus in research, specifically drug toxicity mitigation and management with special interests in cardio-oncology as she chairs the pharmacy working group with the International Cardio-Oncology Society (ICOS), trastuzumab deruxtecan associated ILD and PI3K inhibitor-induced hyperglycemia amongst others with the ultimate goal of making targeted and advanced therapies more manageable for patients.
Joshua Bennetts
Joshua Bennetts, BPharm (Hons.), AACPA, is a clinical pharmacist and PhD candidate from the University of Newcastle, Newcastle, AU. As a member of the Newcastle Centre of Excellence in Cardio-Oncology, Joshua’s research focusses primarily on pharmacist-led models of care to support people with cardiovascular disease and cancer as they transition between hospital and home.
Joshua is also a credentialed pharmacist who continues to provide domiciliary medication management review services for his community and has broad clinical experience across both hospital and community pharmacy.
Olivia White
Olivia White, PharmD, BCOP, is a hematology/oncology clinical pharmacist currently positioned at UT Southwestern Simmons Cancer Center, Dallas, US. Prior to her current role, Olivia completed her schooling at UK College of Pharmacy and her PGY-1 and 2 training at Duke University Hospitals. Olivia’s areas of interest include malignant hematology, cardio-oncology practices, pharmacist education, and pharmacoequity in cancer care.
Dan Lenihan
Dr Dan Lenihan is a cardio-oncologist specialising in cardiology, heart disease and advanced heart failure, at Saint Francis Healthcare System, Cape Girardeau, US.
He is a co-Founder and Board Member of the International Cardio-Oncology Society (ICOS), which is an international professional association whose primary goal is to eliminate cardiac disease as a barrier to effective cancer therapy.
He is actively involved in patient care as the Director of the Cardio-Oncology Programme, Cardiac Rehabilitation, and the Heart Failure clinic at Saint Francis Healthcare System.
Joe Carver
Dr Joe Carver is the Bernard Fishman Clinical Professor of Medicine at the Abramson Cancer Center of the University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, US. He is the Chief of Staff at the Abramson Cancer Center.
He is the Director of the Thalheimer Cardio-oncology Center at the Abramson Cancer Center and his clinical practice is in the subspecialty of cardio-oncology.
