Overview

The programme provides an in-depth exploration of the latest strategies for managing uncontrolled hypertension, guided by recent recommendation from the ESC, ESH and KDIGO. It will examine different approaches to blood pressure control and evaluate the impact of guidance summaries such as the recent MASTERplan document, published in 2024. 

The importance of accounting for cardiovascular (CV) risk and selecting appropriate treatment, will hence be a central theme throughout.
