About the CLIMB® Skills Training Program
Now in its fifth year, the CLIMB program has provided free, advanced clinical skills training to over 390 women physicians from 99 countries. This online program helps address the underrepresentation of women in advanced procedural cardiology subspecialties.

Women As One CLIMB® 2024 Skills Training Program: ATTR-CM
This focused programme, led by Dr Grace Lin and Prof Thibaud Damy, explores the complexities of ATTR-CM diagnosis and treatment. The curriculum covers key areas such as identifying different types of amyloid cardiomyopathy, understanding the patient journey, utilizing imaging modalities, recognizing the role of AI, addressing underdiagnosis in women, and exploring current clinical trials and treatment advancements.

This detailed two-part video lecture, part of the Women As One’s CLIMB® 2024 Skills Training Program on Atrial Fibrillation, offers electrophysiologists an in-depth examination of pulmonary vein isolation ablation and its associated techniques.

Faculty Biographies
Sabine Ernst
Consultant Cardiologist
Sabine Ernst is a cardiac electrophysiologist with special expertise in complex arrhythmias, such as atrial fibrillation and ventricular arrhythmia in both paediatric and adult patients.
She is a Consultant Cardiologist at NIHR Cardiovascular Biomedical Research Unit, Royal Brompton and National Heart and Lung Institute, Imperial College London & Harefield NHS Foundation Trust. She has been a Reader at Imperial College London.
Dr Ernst is a cardiac electrophysiologist with special expertise in: complex arrhythmias, atrial fibrillation, ventricular arrhythmia in both paediatric and adult patients.
Dr Ernst is one of the pioneers of remote magnetic navigation. She has established this technique from its initiation to it becoming a clinical routine procedure using state-of-the-art equipment, including advanced 3D-mapping techniques.
