Part 5 Panel Discussion and Q&A
Dr Matthias Götberg (Skane University Hospital, SE), Dr Karim Al-Azizi (Baylor Scott & White Legacy Heart Center, US) and Prof Farrel Hellig (Sunninghill Hospital, ZA) delve into the evolving field of ultra-low contrast PCI. The faculty explore how interventional cardiologists can achieve procedural precision while significantly reducing contrast usage.
Through a combination of expert presentations and interactive discussions, this session highlights the clinical rationale for contrast minimisation, the tools and imaging modalities that enable “seeing the full picture” and the practical workflows that make these strategies safe and effective in routine practice.
Learning Objectives
- Understand the clinical rationale for ultra-low contrast PCI and its impact on patient outcomes
- Explore the use of intravascular imaging and physiological assessment tools to guide safe and precise PCI with minimal contrast
Target Audience
- Interventional Cardiologists
- General Cardiologists
- Cardiology Fellows
- Cath Lab Teams
