In this on-demand version of the educational webinar, Prof Christophe Leclercq (Centre Hospitalier Universitaire of Rennes, France) joins Dr Diogo Cavaco (Hospital Santa Cruz, Lisbon, Portugal), Dr Marta Pachón (University Hospital, Toledo, Spain), and Dr Chris Pepper (Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust, UK) to examine the role of leadless pacemakers in transforming the treatment of patients with cardiac rhythm disorders.

Dr Chris Pepper examines the evidence for leadless pacing, and considers Micra performance, safety, CED (at 3 year follow-up) and patient selection. He reviews the recommendations of international guidelines and national consensus statements, in addition to position papers by EHRA/HRS/LAHRS/APHRS.

Christophe Leclercq

Prof Christophe Leclercq is from the Centre Hospitalier Universitaire of Rennes (FR) and chief of the cardiology department. His main areas of interest include device therapy for arrhythmias and heart failure. He is a board member of the European Heart Rhythm Association, European Society of Cardiology and Heart Failure Association.
