The International Society of Cardiovascular Pharmacotherapy (ISCP) are pleased to present a collection of six webinars as part of their A to Z of Pharmacotherapy Series. 
 

Published every other month until Dec 2022, these 60-min webinars feature expert panellists, speakers and moderators with live Q&A audiences and EBAC accreditation (1 CME point) for all live views. 
 

This series is ideal for doctors, nurses, pharmacists, family physicians, internists, healthcare students and cardiovascular therapy researchers.

Giuseppe Rosano

Giuseppe Rosano

Consultant Cardiologist and Professor of Cardiology (Hon)

Giuseppe Rosano was born and raised in Vibo Valentia, Italy, where he developed an early interest in medicine and cardiovascular science. While detailed information about his family and early childhood is not widely published, his Italian background and international academic career reflect strong cultural roots combined with global engagement in cardiovascular medicine.

 

Academic History

Professor Rosano obtained his Medical Degree in Medicine and Surgery with full honours from La Sapienza University of Rome in 1988. He subsequently completed his specialisation in Cardiology in 1992. Following his clinical training, he pursued advanced academic and research qualifications in the United Kingdom, earning both an MSc and a PhD in Medical Sciences from Imperial College London. His postgraduate research focused on cardiovascular physiology and pharmacology, forming the foundation of his future work in heart failure and cardiac metabolism.

Rungroj Krittayaphong

Professor Rungroj Krittayaphong, MD, FESC, FACC is a professor of medicine and Head of the Division of Cardiology, Department of Medicine, Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University in Bangkok, Thailand. Professor Rungroj received his medical degree from Chulalongkorn University in Bangkok, Thailand in 1987 and subsequently completed cardiology training at Siriraj Hospital. He joined visiting cardiology fellowship at the University of North Carolina, USA from 1993 to 1995, and in cardiac electrophysiology at the University of Southern California, USA in 1996.

Professor Rungroj’s research interests include cardiac MRI, atrial fibrillation, ventricular arrhythmia, radiofrequency ablation and heart rate variability. He is currently the President of the Heart Association of Thailand and President Elect of the ASEAN Federation of Cardiology.
