Clara Saldarriaga

Academic History

Prof Saldarriaga completed her undergraduate studies in Medicine at the Jesus Maria School in Medellin in 1994 and went on to continue her studies at the Medical School at the University of Antioquia in 2002. She then went on to complete her Internal Medicine Residency at the University of Antioquia in 2008.

Career Overview

Prof Saldarriaga is currently a Professor of Cardiology at Cardiovascular Clinic Santa Maria at the University of Antioquia in Medellín. She is a member of the American College of Physicians and the Columbian Association of internal medicine.

Dr Victoria Delgado is a board-certified cardiologist specialising in cardiovascular imaging and currently based in Leiden, the Netherlands. She works at Leiden University Medical Center, where she combines clinical practice with academic research and teaching. Over the past decade, she has become internationally recognised for her contributions to cardiovascular imaging and heart failure research.

 

Academic History

Dr Delgado completed her medical training and cardiology specialisation with a strong focus on cardiovascular imaging. She pursued advanced training in multimodality cardiac imaging, developing expertise across echocardiography, cardiac magnetic resonance imaging and cardiac computed tomography.
