Part 2 | Session 5 Future research & Educational need
Gain critical insights into how the landmark DanGer Shock RCT reshaped cardiogenic shock management, improved patient outcomes and enhanced collaborative care strategies in real-world settings.
In this webinar, leading experts and trial investigators Dr Jacob Møller (Copenhagen University Hospital, Copenhagen, DK), Dr Vasileios Panoulas (Harefield Hospital, London, UK), Prof Christian Schulze (University Hospital Jena, Jena, DE), alongside moderator Dr Andreas Goetzenich (Senior Director, Medical & Scientific Office, Johnson & Johnson MedTech Heart Recovery), discussed the trial’s decade-long impact¹ on clinical decision-making and its application on a regional level.
The session examined how DanGer Shock continued to shape global practice, refine treatment algorithms and guide future research in cardiogenic shock management. The programme was of particular educational benefit for interventional cardiologists, cardiothoracic surgeons, intensivists, heart failure specialists and the multidisciplinary shock team.
