In this short interview, Dr Sunil Rao (NYU Grossman School of Medicine, New York, US) discusses the new 2025 guideline for the management of acute coronary syndromes released by the AHA and ACC joint committee. The current guideline was informed by a number of clinical trials which focus on improving the outcomes for patients with non-ST segment elevation acute coronary syndrome and ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction.
